VE'E TU'UN SÁVI
Teoría Conductista
Ve'e Tu'un Savi se traduce como La Academia de la Lengua Mixteca. Desde su creación en 1997, la Academia ha estandarizado el alfabeto mixteco y ha desarrollado libros de trabajo para niños sobre el idioma mixteco.
PROGRAMA INTENSIVO DE VERANO CON SAN
Teoría Interaccionista y Sociocultural
Un programa de 6 semanas dirigido por la Universidad Estatal de San Diego y el Instituto Welte en la Ciudad de Oaxaca. Los estudiantes estarían estudiando el mixteco bajo un hablante nativo de mixteco. El programa entero es de 140 horas.
APLICACIÓN DE IDIOMA: VAMOS A APRENDER MIXTECO
Teoría Conductista
Donato García creó Vamos a Aprender Mixteco, una aplicación para aprender el idioma. La aplicación está equipada con 20 unidades de vocabulario y estructuras de oraciones básicas. La aplicación intenta utilizar la tecnología para promover el interés en los pueblos indígenas de México.

THE ENDANGERED LANGUAGE ALLIANCE
ELA es una organización sin fines de lucro que se enfoca en recopilar historias de hablantes mixtecos, específicamente aquellos ubicados en Nueva York. La organización trabaja para difundir la identidad de los mixtecoa para que los hablantes puedan conectarse entre ellos mismos y para que puedan encontrar otros recursos. Recientemente, ELA trabajó con el Departamento de Salud de la Ciudad de Nueva York para lanzar un anuncio, en mixteco, de salud pública sobre COVID-19.
PROYECTO LIDERADO POR ESTEBAN ISRAEL MÉNDEZ
En 2011, Esteban Israel Méndez recibió fondos por medio del Endangered Language Fund por su interes en documentar el Mixteco hablado en el municipal de San Jerónimo Xayacatlán, Puebla, México. El propósito de su proyecto era documentar el tipo de Mixteco en el municipal y crear una guía para aprender el Mixteco dirigido a niños.

VE’E TU’UN SAVI
Behaviorist Theory
Ve’e Tu’un Savi translates to The Academy of the Mixtec Language. Since its creation in 1997, the Academy has standardized the Mixtec alphabet and developed workbooks for kids about the Mixtec language.

THE ENDANGERED LANGUAGE ALLIANCE
The ELA is a non-profit focusing on collecting stories of Mixtec speakers, specifically those located in New York. In addition, ELA works to broadcast the Mixtec identity so that speakers can connect to one another and to other resources. Recently, ELA worked with the NYC Health Department to launch a public health announcement regarding COVID-19 in Mixtec.
PROJECT LED BY ESTEBAN ISRAEL MÉNDEZ
In 2011, Esteban Israel Méndez received funding through the Endangered Language Fund for his interest in documenting Mixtec spoken in the municipality of San Jerónimo Xayacatlán, Puebla, Mexico.
